Testing Attry Works
This article outlines how to confirm Attry is capturing attribution data correctly, and what to do if things don’t look right.
How to Test
The simplest way to test Attry is to complete a form where you’ve added the hidden fields, then check the entry/submission inside your form builder. This will show whether the Channel and Landing Page data is being captured correctly.
Check Your Form Builder (Not Your CRM)
When testing, make sure you review the entries in your form builder, not in your CRM or other connected tools. Attry passes attribution data to your form; your integration (e.g. Gravity Forms → HubSpot) pushes it into your CRM. If the data looks wrong or is missing in your CRM, the issue is more likely with the integration setup rather than Attry itself.
Use a Clean Browser for Each Test
We recommend you test on a clean browser every time. Here’s what to do:
- Open a new incognito/private browsing window before each test.
- Complete your test.
- Close the window once finished.
Important
Cookies are only cleared when all incognito/private windows are closed. If you keep one open between tests, you may see unexpected results.
